In order to improve the group building process, the Research Training Group Algorithmic Optimization (ALOP) has spent three days at the Sporthotel Grafenwald in Daun.  In addition to deep discussions on scientific and organizational aspects, the RTG has also enjoyed several walks and enlightening evening programs filled with practical statistical experiments and intellectual challenges.
