Yasmine studied Applied Mathematics at Trier University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 3/2019 and her Master’s degree in 9/2020. In 11/2020 she joined the research training group Algorithmic Optimization as an associate member.

Charlotte was born in Bad Homburg, Germany. She received her B. Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Göttingen in 2017 and her M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Trier in July 2019. She joined the research training group Algorithmic Optimization in August 2019

Lucas was born in Chopinzinho, Brazil. He studied Mathematics at the Federal Technological University of Paraná, receiving his degree in 2020. He received his M.Sc. degree from the State University of Maringá in 2022. In April 2022 he joined ALOP.

João Vitor was born in Blumenau, Brazil. He studied Mathematics at Federal University of Santa Catarina, receiving his diploma in 2020. He received his MSc degree in Numerical Methods in Engineering in September 2022 from Federal University of Paraná. In January 2023, he joined the research training group Algorithmic Optimization (ALOP) as an associated member.

Lena was born in Kaiserslautern and studied Mathematics (BSc) and Business Mathematics (MSc) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. During her Master’s program she spent one semester at Université de Rennes I, France. After her graduation in 2017, she worked as an applied research associate in Data Science at Fraunhofer IESE. She joined the research training group as a PhD student in August 2019.

Felix was born in Trier, Germany. He studied Applied and Business Mathematics at the University of Trier and received his M.Sc. degree in August 2019. During his degree he studied Mathematics at the University of Southampton and Université de Strasbourg. In November 2019 he became an associate Member of the RTG ALOP.

PhD Student
Lukas Winkel was born in Düsseldorf, Germany. He received his B.Sc. in Business Mathematics in 2016 at the University of Cologne and graduated as M.Sc. in Business Mathematics from the University of Cologne in 2019. During is Bachelor’s degree, he spent time abroad at EWHA Womans University in Seoul, Korea. He joined the RTG ALOP in April of 2019 and is currently working on Mixed Integer Linear Complementarity Problems.
