On May 13/14, 2024, the international conference “Variational Analysis and Applications for Modeling of Energy Exchange – VAME 2024” took place at Trier University. Participants from all over the world including Chile, USA, Italy, Germany, Peru, Sweden, Brazil, or France discussed topics around advanced techniques from mathematical optimization to address important aspects of energy markets and networks.
