The Autumn School 2016 of the RTG "Algorithmic Optimization" will introduce participants to the main ideas from various fields of mathematical optimization. Ranging from 1) PDE-constrained, 2) discrete and 3) multicriteria optimization to 4) optimization in statistics a broad overview will be provided. The autumn school will focus on recent algorithmic advances in these fields.
